What this is

A playable fan mini-game: a six-by-seven bridge skirmish — terrain bonuses, movement ranges, focus-fire targets. The real game's turn-based tactics in its smallest playable form.

Three laws of the skirmish

Terrain

High ground (▲) hits +25% and takes -25%; water (~) halves next movement. A literal port of the terrain-first doctrine.

Initiative

You act, then they act — initiative is currency. Spend the first move on high ground, not on walking.

Focus fire

The brigand archer has the least HP and the most threat — the kill order is archer > boss > shield, not the reverse. Work out why.

Mechanic origin: the three laws in the Field Doctrine — terrain is a weapon, initiative is HP, the chokepoint liturgy. The guide plays the game; the game plays the guide.
